| Report on meeting with Township Council On the evening of December 16, the Council of Centre Wellington met and considered our request for an “emergency” grant to complement our other fundraising and keep the Community Bus Service operating. Unfortunately, we were not successful in meeting our immediate objective of getting a $5,000 grant. The bus service has suspended operations as of Dec 14.Read more >> |
Community Bus Service Transportation is a significant problem for those living in poverty. It’s also a problem other people without access to cars – seniors who can’t or don’t want to drive, and students – would like to use a bus service as well.
